Norwegian shipowner Ocean Yield ASA has taken delivery of Poliegos, the recently acquired Suezmax tanker newbuilding.

Earlier this month, Ocean Yield bought the 2017-built Poliegos for USD 54 million.

“Upon delivery, the vessel commenced a 14-year bareboat charter to a company owned and guaranteed by Okeanis Marine Holdings SA,” Ocean Yield said, adding that the management company of Okeanis is Kyklades Maritime Corp.

The 157,500 dwt tanker was constructed at Sungdong Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering shipyard in South Korea. With a gross tonnage of 81,542 tons, the ship features a length of 277 meters and a width of 48 meters.

Ocean Yield has taken delivery of six vessels so far this year, bringing the total fleet to 37 vessels.
